Thanks for celebrating SQecial's 53rd with us!

We’ve been keeping the celebration going by donating 10% of our total sales for the month to a few local non-profits who do amazing work. There's still time to come shop and ensure that part of your purchase goes toward these groups, but even after March is over, we encourage everyone to check them out and consider supporting them if you can!
Here are our eight chosen organizations -- and a little about what they do:
- Black Soil - Investing in and supporting Black farming operations, culinary businesses, creators, craftspeople, and makers in Kentucky.
-
JustFundKY - Awarding grants to projects that celebrate and protect LGBTQ+ folk, and helping fund legal challenges to dangerous anti-trans legislation.
-
Kentucky Health Justice Network - Advocating for reproductive rights and trans healthcare through both direct action and making important information easily accessible.
-
Lexington Pride Center - Empowering LGBTQ+ Kentuckians by organizing events like the Lexington Pride Festival, and coordinating year-round groups and activities that bring the community together.
-
Moveable Feast - Delivering hot and nutritious meals, five days a week, to low-income community members in hospice care and those who are living with HIV/AIDS-related illnesses.
-
Neighbors Immigration Clinic - Helping ensure that every immigrant has the legal resources and support they need.
-
Seedleaf - Reducing barriers to fresh and healthy produce for all, and encouraging small-scale community gardening through horticultural training and other programs.
-
The Nest - Supporting families in crisis with free education, counseling, advocacy, and resources.
